These pictures are from a 1970 USO Tour
with Miss America Phyllis George and six other contestants
from that year's pageant. VICKY JO TODD, Miss Nevada 1970, HELA YUNGST/aka YOUNG, Miss New Jersey 1970, BELLINDA MYRICK, Miss Texas 1970, PHYLLIS GEORGE, Miss America 1971, CHERYL BROWNE, Miss Iowa 1970, KAREN SHIELDS, Miss Arizona 1970 and DONNA JO CONNELLY, Miss Arkansas 1970.
The USO Tour visited U.S. Troops in Vietnam.
Bellinda also informed us that she is currently the
Executive Director for the MISS AUSTIN - MISS CAPITAL OF TEXAS - MISS TEXAS HILL COUNTRY and MISS WEST TEXAS Scholarship Pageants within the MISS TEXAS and MISS AMERICA system.
