Aishah Hasnie In OVER THE KNEE BLACK LEATHER BOOTS Video Link

.

Aishah Hasnie anchors Fox 59′s First at Four and reports for Fox 59 News at 10. She joined the news team in July 2011. Before that, she was an investigative reporter and fill-in anchor at WANE-TV in Fort Wayne.

Aishah’s work has been recognized by the Indiana Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists. One of her investigations even changed Indiana law. She discovered the state couldn’t prosecute people who took upskirt pictures and videos in public places, because of a loophole in the voyeurism law. Her persistent reporting inspired legislation that closed that loophole.

Aishah was born in Pakistan, but grew up in Bedford, IN. She has also lived in Saudi Arabia. She’s fluent in three languages.

She received her B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Indiana University where she was a Dick Yoakam Broadcast Journalism Scholar. Now, Aishah is giving back. She gave her first scholarship award to a journalism student at IU in 2010. She also mentors a handful of current and former students, often critiquing their work during her time off.

Aishah got her start at WICS-TV in Springfield, IL as an on-air intern reporter at the age of 18. She also interned at WTHR-TV in Indianapolis and GEO-TV, an international network based in Pakistan.

Aishah is passionate about journalism and committed to digging up the truth. She’s also dedicated to closing gaps between people, and opening up the world for others.

All of that aside, Aishah is an all around Indiana girl. She loves trap and target shooting with her dad, playing soccer, globetrotting, and spending time with her family and friends.

The FACE Of MY INDY TV

Each year, MyINDY-TV 23 chooses a new Face to represent its station. From the many who audition during the open casting calls, contestants are narrowed to five finalists, which include one fan favorite chosen by the MyINDY-TV 23 viewers. The Top 5 finalists then go through an extensive selection process; including screen tests, interviews, community service projects and various other challenges until one person is chosen to take the top spot.
