I remember white boots being popular in the early 1970s.
From pictures and research, I know they were popular in the late 1960s.

They made a comeback in the late 1980s, especially with Heavy Metal chicks.
We've waited long enough. Boot designers take note.

A Long Time between Blog Appearances
This is Boua Xiong, a reporter for KARE 11
in the Twin Cities in a photo from yesterday.
The last time we saw Boua on the Blog was on a
post from July 7, 2011, but the pictures are actually
from her first appearance on KARE 11,
which was in late October of 2010.

That's pretty cool that she made her station debut in
brown leather over the knee boots. Especially since
it was the year before OTKs were routinely seen
in newsrooms and on this Blog.
